What materials will they need at home...will they need an instrument for class?
No materials or instrument is needed for class. All practicing is done during class time. The only thing we require from your child is a teachable spirit.
What will my child be able to know by the end of program?
All students will have learned the basics in note reading, rhythm, counting beats, reading chords, playing the keyboard, drums, ukulele, singing, and performing together with others.
How will the teachers keep parents updated about homework and progress in class?
Weekly updates will be emailed to all parents. Since all practicing takes place during the class, there is little to no homework.
Can parents contact the teacher?
If you need anything, our administrative staff is always happy to help with any questions or concerns.
What is the full fee? What is included?
The full class fee is $175 *unless otherwise posted or a sale is going on. This includes six 45 minute classes once a week, certificate upon completion, rockstar photo shoot, access to our school practice rooms during admin hours, all photos and videos emailed to parents. Books are turned back into the school at the end of the program.
Can parents sit in to watch the class?
We are unable to have parents sit in the class due to our limited space. You are more than welcome to watch from the window. But please understand that waving and talking to students through the glass is distracting to everyone in class. We also offer a waiting area.
How many weeks is the program, how many lessons?
The class is (6) weekly 45-minute lessons.
What is your policy for missing a lesson?
We do not offer make up classes for any classes missed.
