Music in the Classroom, has been bringing high-quality music education to schools throughout the Los Angeles and San Diego Unified School Districts since 2018. By supporting California’s Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA) standards, Music in the Classroom is dedicated to making music education accessible to all students, delivering affordable classes during and after school.
Through partnerships with numerous schools, we have helped countless young musicians discover their passion for music, their voice, and their joy of music. Our experienced teaching artists create a fun and inclusive environment where children can explore instruments and build confidence through creative expression. Our experienced team can work with your school to design a comprehensive music program tailored to your students that also aligns with California Arts Standards. Our classes incorporate all essential elements of music including rhythm, theory, technique, composition, music from different cultures, and instrumental proficiency. From introductory music classes to instrumental instruction, all the way to pop band - our programs make music education fun and accessible to students of all ages and abilities.

Movement, singing, and hands-on rhythm games help young students discover music together.

Grades 1–3
Intro to Music
Perfect for students just entering into music, providing them with the basic foundational skills in keyboard, ukulele, and drums before selecting a favorite to continue with.
This is fantastic for parents, as it removes any guesswork or wasted money on wrong instruments. while students explore music.
Grades 1 & UP
Ukulele
Students move forward expanding their knowledge from the basics to reading tabs, strumming patterns, and playing songs from numerous cultures that embrace the ukulele!

Keyboard
Learn pop, rock, and movie themes as you play together with your class along with individual songs.
Grades 4 - 5
Pop Band
You've learned all the basics and have played with others before. Now it's time to come together with your band, choose your set list, design your Band Poster and take it to the next level.

Proposition 28: Expanding Access to Arts Education
Proposition 28 has created a new source of funding for arts and music education in public schools. This historic investment address longstanding gaps in arts education, particularly in underserved communities where access to music programs has often been limited.
Music in the Classroom is committed to helping schools make the most of this opportunity. With experience providing music education in schools since 2018, our team can help design and deliver standards-aligned music programs that inspire more students.
Title I Schools
Title I is a federally funded program designed to help schools provide a high-quality education to all students, regardless of their family's income or background. Through the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), funding is distributed to schools and districts serving higher numbers of students from low-income families. These funds help schools provide additional educational resources, support programs, and learning opportunities to ensure every child has the tools they need to succeed academically and reach their full potential.

OUR TEAM
Our team of qualified, trained and LiveScanned teachers have an incredible zest for teaching music. They are talented musicians themselves, an love to see students flourish with their skills and confidence.
All new teachers at TMA are trained on our programs to ensure consistent, high quality lessons.
Every school has a LEAD TEACHER from TMA who makes sure students are in the right class, and waits until all students are picked up or returned to after care.
*Tiffany Music Academy is a registered vendor for LAUSD, SDUSD, and PVPUSD. All of our employees are background checked via LiveScanned and cleared through the individual school district's online portal. All music programs follow the CA state guidelines for music and arts.
