Piano and Guitar teacher in Los Angeles and Culver City
Meet Felipe, our talented teacher based in Los Angeles. Felipe was born and raised in Bogotá, Colombia. After he graduated from high school he moved to the United States to continue his academic career at Berklee College of Music. In addition to traditional studies he focused on contemporary writing/production and jazz composition.
Music has always helped him find the positive side of life. Felipe believes music is a friend that listens to what you need to say. Furthermore music is a tool with no languages or social barriers. For these reasons, music is a tactic to explore cultures and search new areas of creativity.
Felipe has been teaching for the past eight years. Not only students in America but also in Columbia. In addition to being a patient and caring teacher, he also takes the time to get to know his students. Of course he wants to know what their musical interests are. From here he cultivates a plan to keep them inspired with lessons and also progressing through theory.
Furthermore Felipe understands that as students move forward and becoming better musicians, they gain confidence. Correspondingly with confidence comes the courage to tackle other every day activities. Join Felipe at our Baby and Me classes or sign up for private one on one lessons. Did you wake up asking "where is a guitar teacher near me?" Search no further.
"Felipe is great with students of all ages from 2 months old with the Baby and Me class to 50+ with private lessons. I look forward to our lessons every week” — Nicole G.
